Christian Scholarships

In our increasingly secular Western societies, people are often discriminated due to their religious affiliations. However, the democratic ideals structuring these societies stand in stark contrast with any type of discrimination whatsoever.

The Christian scholarships, awarded by various colleges and private organizations, aim to promote religious tolerance in a secular yet democratic world and, thus, solve the tensions between secularism and faith haunting contemporary democracies.

Through offering financial support to promising Christian students (regardless of their particular denomination), these institutions are guided by the conviction that freedom of thought and expression should extend far beyond science and politics and be a vital feature of the religious sphere too.
