Dana Michelle Pettaway Ministries, Inc. was established in January 2004 and is named after Dana Michelle Pettaway, a youth leader who became famous due to her desire to maintain Godly standards and excellence in every area of her life.
The Dana Michelle Pettaway Servant’s Heart Scholarship is aimed at 7 Christian high school seniors who exhibit leadership in areas of volunteerism and service.
The selection criteria are based upon GPA, Essays, Letters of Recommendation, Service at Church, School and in the Community, and for semifinalists an Interview with the Selection Committee.
Many people would wonder whether they belong to those who qualify to apply for the Dana Michelle Pettaway Servant’s Heart Scholarship.
The committee has determined that applicants must meet the following criteria to be accepted as possible award winners.
They need to be legal U.S. residents and members of the Christian faith.
Then, the applicants have to attend high school in Harris County, TX and be high school seniors who are eligible for graduation in May or June of the year they are submitting the application.
Applicants must have a current GPA of 2.75 or higher and have a minimum of 30 documented service or volunteer hours.
Last, but not least, the eligible candidate has to intend to enroll as a full-time student in an accredited college, vocational or technical school.
