The Baptist Foundation of Alabama is a foundation which functions based on generous donors and sponsors who are eager to help those people interested in education but not able to afford it.

The organization is proud to award multiple scholarships every year, including undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs.

This kind of help for successful higher education is given to students who are able to meet the criteria required by the foundation.

Full Description

Students who are eligible to apply for the Baptist Foundation of Alabama scholarship will have to do it on annual basis as the scholarship is not renewable.

You can get it for one year and then you will have to reapply if you want to have it next year, too.

Who's eligible?

The Baptist Foundation of Alabama requires that applicant have certain qualifications so as to be eligible for this scholarship.

Besides the fact that the applicant has to be the resident of the State of Alabama, he/she has also to be a member in good standing of a Southern Baptist Church which is in a good relation with the Alabama Baptist State Convention.

Furthermore, applicant is necessary to be a full time student and have a 2.0 GPA.

How to Apply

What you should have in mind when applying is that all documents should be submitted online.

You will have to register on their website, submit scanned documentation and other necessary information as a part of the application process.

Of course, all the above mentioned requirements have to be finished and submitted by March 31 either via e-mail or via post.

Otherwise, they will not be accepted.

The scanned documentation is highly recommended.

Other important thing is that you need to inform the Foundation of a school change or you may lose an awarded scholarship.

All the information related to both acceptance or rejection of the application form will be sent via e-mail and the applicant has to check it regularly or he/she can lose a potential award.

The information about the acceptance or rejection are usually e-mailed by the first week in July.

Those who do not have an e-mail will get this information via post in a letter sent to their address.
