Oxbow’s Nebraska High School Senior Scholarship is designed to help and offer financial aid to graduating high seniors in Nebraska.

Oxbow is aware of the fact that today’s students are tomorrow’s veterinary leaders and that is the reason why they have decides to provide financial support to aspiring veterinarians and vet techs through their annual scholarship programs.

Oxbow understands that receiving a quality education is a critical step in becoming a veterinary professional and they are trying to give the opportunity to students to achieve this goal.

Scholarship is awarded to one the most eligible applicant and $500 are not paid to the recipient, but directly to the school in September.

Who's eligible?

In order to be eligible for the Nebraska High School Scholarship you will need to meet certain eligibility requirements and possess some qualities related to the veterinary field.

Firstly, you need to be a High School Senior who is interested in education and career in the companion animal industry and this involves animal health, animal nutrition, marketing, publishing, and pet food manufacturing.

You have to be enrolled in an educational institution which is U.S. based.

The students have to possess a strong interest in pursuing a career in the companion animal industry.

How to Apply

The process of applying requires that you complete the application available online at oxbowanimalhealth.com/the-oxbow-way/education/academic-scholarships and give honest answers to the questions.

Furthermore, you will have to submit a resume in which your activities and job history would be described.

The supporting documentation include two letters of reference, the proof of high school senior status pending graduation from a Nebraska high school, the proof of full time enrollment at a college or university.

The part of your application process would be a 300-500 word essay in which you should speak about the reasons for pursuing a career in the pet industry or in the field of animal health.

All these should be submitted before March 2nd to the following address:
