Veterinary Technology – Exotic Animal Interest $500 Scholarship is created so as to support the veterinary technician students, being that after finish their studies they will become essential team members in every veterinary practice.

They finanically support young students who are struggling with expenisive educational costs and award one person annually with $1000 award.

Full Description

Oxbow understands the need for highly-trained and qualified veterinary technicians in exotic animal medicine, so they decided to invest in the education of younger generations who have a desire to get a degree in this field.

The scholarship amount will be paid directly to the school in September, and it cannot be used for any purpose other than education.

Incomplete and late submissions will be disqualified, even though the applicant is eligible for the award.

Who's eligible?

If you are wondering whether you are eligible for the Oxbow’s Undergraduate Scholarship you should have in mind that this scholarship is for students currently enrolled in a college or university who have demonstrated a career interest in companion animals.

You are suggested to apply only if you are eligible for the award, as the scholarship committee will not accept those applications from ineligible applicants.

How to Apply

The application process is made simple so that each eligible applicant can apply.

To qualify you are supposed to complete the application form available on the scholarship provider’s website once the application process begins and submit a 300- to 500-word essay in which you will write about the reasons why you want to pursue a career in the companion animal industry.

Oxbow’s Veterinary Technology Scholarship committee requires that the applicant submits a résumé describing activities and job history and provides one letter of reference.

Additional documentation includes proof of full-time enrollment in an accredited veterinary technology program and a transcript copy and current GPA
