Minorities In Government Finance Scholarship

Minorities in Government Finance Scholarship is available to upper-division undergraduate or graduate students of public administration, governmental accounting, finance, political science, economics, or business administration with the main goal to recognize outstanding performance by minority students preparing for a career in state and local government finance.

The scholarship has been established in 1993 when GFOA’s Executive Board voted to create it.

That way, they were able to financially support outstanding minority students who are trying to reach higher education goals but still have trouble with getting the money for expensive tuition costs.

This scholarship is offered thanks to Tyler Technologies.
