The Chicago Roofing Contractors Association (CRCA) Scholarship amount is $4,000 to be awarded yearly.

Full Description

The Chicago Roofing Contractors Association (CRCA) scholarship recipient will be selected on the basis of academic performance, faculty recommendation, extracurricular activities, employment experience, and a demonstrated interest in a productive career.

The scholarship money will be sent to the college or university where the scholarship winner will do his or her undergraduate work.

It is a great thing that this scholarship is renewable based upon the student maintaining a 2.75-grade point average, three times.

Who's eligible?

As you are reading this, you are certainly interested in the eligibility requirements that all candidates must meet if they want to be considered for the Chicago Roofing Contractors Association (CRCA) Scholarship.

The award is available only to high school seniors who are provisionally accepted as full-time students into undergraduate degree programs by four years accredited colleges for the following fields of study – liberal arts and sciences, engineering, architecture, or business.

They need to be United States citizens residing in Cook or other area counties and posses ACT composite of 29 or greater or SAT equivalent.

How to Apply

Meeting the above-mentioned requirements makes you an ideal candidate for this award so you should get familiar with application guidelines required from each candidate:

You are supposed to submit a completed 3-page Application Form followed by two completed Personal Evaluation Sheets with a 1-page Letter of Recommendation.

One should be from a high school faculty member/guidance counselor; the second is to be from a non-related adult outside the high school faculty.

Then, you need to provide an official transcript of all high school records, as well as official ACT or SAT Results.

Applications will be available at www.crca.org / Scholarship in December each year and the finalists will be notified in April.

You need to submit an application via mail to CRCA Foundation, 4415 W. Harrison St., Ste. 540, Hillside, IL 60162 or Email CRCAscholarship@gmail.com, by March 6th.

It is recommended to send all information and the whole application package together consisting of three pages application, 2 evaluations, a transcript, and an ACT score.
