Zonta International offers 32 scholarships of $2,000 each at the district and 6 international scholarships in the amount of $8,000

.Zonta International supports the achievements of female students trying to get a degree in business and she can be either domestic or foreign studying in the United States.

The applicants from geographic areas within a Zonta district/region where there are no clubs are also eligible to apply.

Full Description

Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarshipare is there to help women interested in business studies who demonstrate high potential in the field.

The scholarship award may be used at any university, college or institute offering accredited programs for the payment of tuition, books, educational fees and equipment.

Who's eligible?

First and foremost, the eligible applicant must be female student who is  enrolled in the second year of an undergraduate program or the final year of a master’s program at a business and/or business-related accredited university or college.

She has to have an outstanding academic achievements, ambition, and commitment to pursuing a career in business.

There is no age limit, but she needs to be living or studying in a Zonta district/region.

Also, online students are also eligible to apply while previous International Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship recipients may not apply to renew the Scholarship for a second year.

Golden Z club members may apply, while employees and classified members of Zonta and their family members are not eligible.

How to Apply

There is an official application on the Zonta International website, which has to be filled out in English and typed.

Furthermore, all non-English documents have to be translated into English first and than submitted in the
application package.

Applications should include one recommendation from a faculty member and one recommendation from an employer, volunteer supervisor, or academic advisor.

The applicants will be asked to write a 500 words essay where they will speak about their academic and professional goals and how the Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship will
help them in reaching the higher education goals.
Additional document is the Zonta International verification of current enrollment form from the university/college/institute registrar, as well as official detailed transcripts of grades or equivalent records for all universities and colleges.
