Considering the fact that the foodservice industry in Illinois remains the largest private sector employer in the state,  there is a constant demand of new people getting involved in this important industry.

That is why, the Illinois Restaurant Association is created with the aim to support and provide restaurants in Illinois with educated young people eager to start their careers in this industry.

Since its foundation in 1914, the Illinois Restaurant Association does not get any profit from its activities related to  educating new cooks, so as to improve the whole restaurant industry in Illinois.
