This is a non-renewable scholarship.

Full Description

If you have an interest in becoming a FMS scholar, you should take a look at application requirements and if you fulfill it, you are encouraged to apply for this award.

Pay attention that high school and graduate-level students are not eligible for this scholarship.

The recipient will be honored in front of FMS membership as part of the FMS Awards Lunch.

Who's eligible?

The FMS Finance and Accounting Scholarship has certain eligibility criteria that all applicants must fulfill in order to be able to get the award.

The applicant has to be currently enrolled in a two- or four-year accredited institution related to finance and/or accounting and he/she has to be enrolled in the first, second, or third year of undergraduate-level education.

The cumulative grade point should be at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and the applicant has to provide full transcript history from his/her educational institution.

If you meet all these requirements and you have submitted the application, you will be rated according to your academic achievement and answers to application essay questions.

This is done by the FMS Finance and Accounting Scholarship review committee.

Applicants will be informed about their application status in April.

How to Apply

On the official website of this foundation, there is the application form which can either be downloaded and filled out, or it can be done online and should be submitted.

It is important that all the necessary field should be filled out and all the data provided should be correct and right.

Some of the possible questions that you will be asked are to describe your decision to pursue a career in finance and/or accounting and if you had any honors or already received any scholarships before.

All the applications will be received by FMS’ Manager, Membership and Chapter Relations, Taylor Weathers, and the deadline for submission is Friday, April 19th.
