Up to now, AAF-Greater Evansville awarded $158,000 in scholarship to eligible students who must plan to pursue a career in advertising, marketing, public relations or graphic design.

Full Description

It is very important that interested students follow the application timeline, as the application deadline can vary yearly, but is typically sometime in March or April.

Furthermore, the number of lucky recipients is also determined each year, while the award is the same – $5000.

Recipients will be notified about the award by April 5th.

Who's eligible?

The scholarship committee has determined certain scholarship requirements that each applicant has to be aware of and do not apply if he/she does not meet them.

Ineligible applicants will be rejected, so they are suggested not to waste their time applying.

The applicant must be graduating from a high school or currently attending college in one of these counties:
INDIANA:  Vanderburgh, Warrick, Posey, Gibson, Pike
ILLINOIS:  Edwards, White, Wabash, Wayne
KENTUCKY:  Henderson, Union, Daviess

Then, he/she must be majoring in Advertising, Marketing, Graphic Design or Public Relations and have a minimum GPA of 3.00.

If you fulfill these requirements, you are highly encouraged to apply.

How to Apply

The application process includes the submission of the application forms, which has to be accompanied by a typed one-page essay in which the applicant will speak about himself/herself and why he/she is the ideal candidate for this Scholarship.

The application forms for the AAF-Greater Evansville Scholarship Award are available through the student’s high school counselor and college financial office.

The applicant will be asked to list extra-curricular activities, honors received and work experience in the scholarship application, as well as provide information about his/her high school and college.

The scholarship applications are posted in January and awarded in April.

If you choose to submit the application via mail, it must be postmarked by March 25, while an emailed submission must be received by March 27th.
