The Tennessee Cattleman’s Association exists for so many years and since its foundation it has noticed the importance of involving younger generations in the beef industry and supporting them during the hard days of studies.

So, they have made a program which provides youth with a scholarship to purchase all the necessary educational items and pay tuition.

Full Description

The TCA foundation offers three scholarships of $600 to outstanding students who are interested in the beef industry.

The TN CattleWomen organization is also sponsor for this award and will select one winner.

The organization wants to support those people who study in the fields of education, communications, production, research or any other subject related to the beef industry.

The main aim is to encourage talented people to achieve higher education goals and become leaders in this field.

Who's eligible?

So as to be eligible for the TCA Scholarship, the applicant has to be a graduating high school senior or full-time undergraduate student enrolled at a two- or four-year education in Tennessee.

Also, he/she has to prove his/her commitment to a career in the beef industry.

This can be done through classes, internships or life experiences.

Even though the previous scholarship recipients are eligible to apply, the preference will be given to new applicants.

Additional eligibility requirement is that a student himself/herself or his/her parents need to be members of TCA.
