The Spirit of Ramanujan STEM Talent Initiative scholarship was created in honor of the legacy of Srinivasa Ramanujan.

Its aim is to support future engineers, mathematicians, and scientists who lack traditional institutional support and who are doing their best to reach higher education goals in these fields.

That way they strive to find undiscovered STEM talent around the world and engage them even more in this interesting field.

The great thing to know is that this scholarship is open to students from high school through college who live anywhere in the world.

Winners will get $5,000 which can be used in their research programs around the world or individual research with an approved sponsor.

The timeline is very important so make sure you submit the application form by March 1st if you want to be considered for this year’s awards.

If you happen to be a mathematical talent and a promising young student who lacks traditional resources, do not hesitate to apply for this amazing award.

Who's eligible?

Those ambitious, exceptional students who possess great passion for science but need resources to continue their research or studies are highly encouraged to apply for the Spirit of Ramanujan STEM Talent Initiative.

Twenty eligible individuals will be awarded Ramanujan Scholarly Development Prizes to use for furthering their educational pursuits while 10 participants will be given financial support to attend and participate in approved summer research in mathematics.

You will be asked to create an account through which you are supposed to apply and provide personal and educational data that are required and the system will determine whether you are eligible for this award or not.

You must provide your Cover Letter, Curriculum Vitae, Research Statement, either official or unofficial transcripts and two reference letters that have to be submitted online by the reference writers themselves.
