Full Description

The number of fellowships awarded on an annual basis varies each year and it depends on the number of applicants and their qualifications.

Who's eligible?

Graduate Fellowships are designed to be awarded to applicants in any SCAD graduate program or geographic location who have been determined, through the admission process, to be exceptionally strong candidates for advanced study and scholarship.

The only way of receiving financial aid is to first apply and be accepted to SCAD.

The next step is to complete and submit your FAFSA so as to show that you really need financial support.

The eligible students for the Graduate Fellowship are those people who are strong leaders in their respective schools and departments and are assigned specific duties.

Furthermore, applicants must have at least a 3.3 GPA and must submit a superior-quality portfolio and statement of purpose.

If you happen to be chosen among semi-finalists, you will be invited to participate in an interview whose aim is to help the committee determine the final selection.

How to Apply

For this scholarship opportunity, students must demonstrate superior skills in their academic and/or artistic activities as well as go through the application process.

Once you filed the FAFSA online, you should receive a Student Aid Report or SAR in a few days.

When you receive your SAR your task is to review it carefully to make sure it is correct and complete as it will be used to determine your eligibility for financial aid.

Students should continue to check the email account for any requirements requested by the SCAD financial aid office.

An official award of financial assistance is sent via SCAD email.
