The Robert Eggert Memorial Scholarship is one of numerous FFA scholarships.

It was created in honor of Robert Eggert, who devoted his life to promoting education and helping young learners achieve their high education goals.

Full Description

The Robert Eggert Memorial Scholarship gives the award of $1,000 and it is non-renewable.

The committee determined by the sponsors of this scholarship will evaluate all the applications and select recipients according to the applicant’s eligibility.

Who's eligible?

The Robert Eggert Memorial Scholarship is designed for a high school senior students who are pursuing a four-year degree in agribusiness.

The great thing is that both FFA members and non-FFA members are eligible for this scholarship.

The eligibility criteria which have to be met in order to be accepted as a possible recipient of this award are:

  • the eligible applicant has to be less than 23 years of age
  • he/she has to be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • his/her future plans has to be related to attending post secondary education in U.S.
  • good academic achievements are also important meaning that the applicant has to have the minimum of a 3.2 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

How to Apply

As for all the other scholarship, FFA has created an improved scholarship application platform, so you will not have much trouble filling it out.

Students can now easily create, edit and submit an application via FFA official website.

The application form has to be filled out with honest answers online and submitted by February 1st.

If you are a FFA member, you have your member ID (FFA ID) number and you will be asked to provide it while filling out the application form.

In case you do not know your member ID number, you can contact your FFA advisor and get that information.

Also, you will need to select the school of your choice in the application and you can change it any time before the application deadline.

The documentation necessary when applying is the high school transcript, FAFSA and Student Aid Report (SAR).
