The PHNCF provides $30,000 in academic awards to students pursuing a career in the healthcare or allied health fields and they have been supporting them since 2005.
The scholarships are available only to students in the state of Pennsylvania.

If you happen to be the Health Professional Scholarship finalist, you must be able to sit for an interview in front of the Scholarship Committee at the PHNCF Board Room in Sharon, PA.
All scholarship recipients must be able to attend the Awards Ceremony on June 6th.
Who's eligible?
What interested applicants would be glad to know is that by submitting just one application they will automatically become qualify for both the PHN Health Professionals and the PHN Charitable Foundation Scholarships.
They may also be eligible for the PHN/PHNCF Employee Family and American Dream Scholarships, but they must make sure they have read their specific eligibility requirements.
The eligible students are those whose future career is related to healthcare or a healthcare-focused field.
The eligible candidate for this award are those who meet the requirements:
- G.P.A. of 3.0 or Higher Must be pursuing a degree/certificate in an Administrative/Clinical Healthcare or Healthcare-focused field.
- Must reside in one of the counties Primary Health Network serves.

The application requirements for these scholarships are the following:
The applicant must submit an essay, 600 words long, in which he/she will describe how his/her pursuit in a chosen field of study in an education program or college aligns with the mission, values, programs, and care the Primary Health Network/Primary Health Network Charitable Foundation provides for the communities they serve.
Applicants will be disqualified if any personal details are listed within the essay.
Unofficial transcripts must be postmarked or faxed by the scholarship due date on February 14th.
