President Scholarship for Mariano Moreno Culinary Institute

The President’s Scholarship has been established to assist full-time students who have financial needs and cannot pay their educational expenses, as part of their financial aid package at the institute.

The scholarship award is based on merit and need, which means that the recipient does not have to repay it.

 

Full Description

The scholarship award ranges from $500 to $5,000 for each recipient and can be used only for the payment of tuition after the first billing period.

The scholarship award will be valid only for the current enrollment period.

Who's eligible?

Just like any other scholarship, the President Scholarship for Mariano Moreno Culinary Institute scholarship committee has determined some rulers and regulations according to which the eligible applicants for this award will be selected.

The scholarship is not available to each student, but it is only designed for future students at Mariano Moreno Culinary Institute that are looking to start their career in culinary arts or pastry and baking.

What is offered at Mariano Moreno Culinary Institute are Certificate and Associate degrees in their campus in Miami and students interested in applying should get familiar with minimum requirements for it.

How to Apply

So as to apply for this award, eligible applicants must complete a scholarship application and submit a one or two-page essay describing why they believe they are deserving of this award.

The essay should also include their goals as future chefs and how they will represent our school in the future.

Who will get the award will be determined by the President and the Director of each program based on the analysis of the applicant’s essay, financial needs, and overall future academic success.

Beginning October 1st you should apply for aid by using the IRS data match on the FAFSA at FAFSA.gov.

You can automatically insert your income, which will simplify the process, and be sure to create an FSA ID prior to starting.

You must intend to enroll in an MMCI Associate degree program, or an eligible certificate program to be considered for any financial aid from the federal government,

Once you create an FSA ID and complete the FASFA form, you are supposed to complete your admissions form and pay the admissions fee.
