The foundation has the aim to provide financial assistance to deserving students.

But, in order to become possible candidates for this award, students have to be legal residents of the United States of America, plus they need to be pursuing post high school education.

This is not all.

They need to be passionate about sports, athletics, and/or physical fitness, and are currently or have previously been diagnosed/treated for cancer.

How to Apply

The application process is done online, and besides filling out the application form with personal and educational data, students have to submit the physician verification form by which it will be proved that they are diagnosed or were diagnosed for cancer.

Last, but not the least, the applicants must complete an essay which will be up to 500 words in which they will answer the following question – “How I will represent and carry out the mission of the Foundation: to empower athletes impacted by cancer to pursue their passions?”

Once the application process ends, all the accepted applications will be under review, and a winner will be selected in early July.

Make sure that you submit all the documentation before the deadline on June 15th.

The applications which are not complete will be rejected and those candidates will not be taken into consideration for the award.
