The National Poultry & Food Distributors Association Scholarships is designed to help various students of agricultural colleges and universities across the US and up to now has given almost $260,000.00.

Since 1979, NPFDA helps deserving students complete their college education.

The fund exists thanks to the financial support of the generous donations of the Manson Family Memorial and other members.

Full Description

The National Poultry & Food Distributors Assocation’s Scholarship Foundation has designed this award to offer a support and help to NPFDA member children and/or employees.

Five students will have the opportunity to win this amazing award of $4,000.

Who's eligible?

In order to be able to qualify for this scholarship, the applicant must be enrolled as a full time college junior or senior the upcoming year at a U.S. institution.

He/she has to be pursuing a degree in  one of the following fields –  Agricultural Business, Poultry Science, Food science, Animal Science, Pre Vet, Food Marketing, Ag. Econ.

The scholarship is available to an employee of a NPFDA Member Company or a child of an employee of a NPFDA Member Company.

If you have already applied for this scholarship, you should enter your old username and password.

There, you will be able to fill out the application form online and submit all the other documents as well.

All applications and documentations must be submitted before the deadline on May 31st.

You are supposed to provide official transcripts, and if they must arrive separately, they will be accepted after the deadline.

Also, you should send a letter of recommendation from their Dean, Department Head and/or advisor.

Furthermore, the applicants are supposed to write a 500 word essay in which they will speak about their goals and aspirations and this should be submitted either through the online platform where it can be typed or uploaded as an attachment.
