A $5,000 scholarship offered yearly by Masergy to an undergraduate or graduate student majoring in STEM (i.e. science, technology, engineering or mathematics) to assist him/her finishing his/her degree.
Masergy is a company owning and operating the biggest independent Software Defined Platform in the world. They help global enterprises deliver hybrid networking, and to manage their communications and security.
Masergy offers a generous scholarship to talented students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at an American educational institution (college or university) in one of the following majors: science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM).
In order to apply, they must submit an essay on maximum 1000 words in which they have to describe: how they became interested in the STEM academic fields, in which ways they plan to contribute to the development of technology and science after their graduation, which are their favorite new technologies, how do they think technology will evolve in the future, what particular life experience have shaped them, and what difficulties they have to overcome.
The essays will be judged according to their originality and quality of writing.
The amount of the scholarship is $5,000, the deadline for the application is August 15, 2020 and the winners will be notified before September 1, 2020.
