Interstellar Research Group 2024 Doctoral Graduate College Scholarship Program

  1. Dates for scholarship applications are September 15, 2024, to December 15, 2024. Winners will be announced April 15, 2025.

Purpose: To provide a scholarship to one graduate student attending a U.S. university seeking a doctoral graduate degree.

Award Components: One $2500 scholarship will be awarded.

Full Description

Application Process: Applicant must submit the following items:

  1. Completed application
  2. A brief (one page) explanation of career goals and biographical (background)
  3. A 2,500-word essay on the student’s research and its application to achieving interstellar missions, in .docx format (Word).

Deadline for the application is December 15, 2024.

Applications emailed after this date will not be considered.

Eligibility Requirements

 1. Applicant must be a full-time student accepted to or enrolled in an accredited program that awards Doctoral graduate degrees.

2. Applicant must be a resident of the U.S

3. Areas included can be STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) related fields, ecology, social sciences, environmental, business, health, law, agriculture, food sciences, computer science, education, construction, and any degrees which can be applied to interstellar space travel missions and to help establish successful civilizations.

4. Open to doctoral graduate students enrolled at a university in the United States.
