The fund for this scholarship is established in memory of former FFA webmaster, Lisa Stone, her husband, Dan, and Mark Cavell, former IT Division Director, to honor their hard work and dedication to FFA.

It is aimed to help high school senior and FFA members who are attending a two or four year colleges,pursuing a degree in agriculture and have financial difficulties making them unable to pay the educational expenses.

This scholarship is designed to fit numerous applicants with great higher education plans and career goals and the great thing is that students may reapply each year for this amazing award as long as they continue to meet the eligibility criteria.

Full Description

The application process opens on November 15th and it lasts until the application deadline on February 6th.
The selection results are usually announced by the end of May and funds are disbursed in August.
The college choice can be changed only before the application deadline and all required supporting documents must be uploaded as well.

Who's eligible?

All the applicants who think about applying for this award should know that the eligibility criteria have to be met.
First, the applicant has to be less than 23 years of age and he/she has to be a current FFA member.
Secondly, he/she has to be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and a high school senior with good academic achievements.
Last, but not the least, the eligible applicant has to plan attending post secondary education in U.S.

How to Apply

The application form is so improved that you will not have difficulties with filling it out.

When filling out your application, you may exit and return later to complete it up without the loss of the data.

The additional documentation that has to be provided is the high School Transcript for current high school seniors and current college freshman and sophomores or the College/University Transcript for current college sophomores, juniors and seniors.

Also, FAFSA Student Aid Report is required for all applicants.

The applicants should know that the preference will be given to those people who show the best use of new media to promote FFA and agricultural education.
