The Lint Center for National Security Studies is a non-profit organization which is helping the educational development of the next generation of America’s Counterintelligence and National Security professionals.

The International Association for Intelligence Education Scholarship is there to help intelligence professionals and personnel who are eager to make a career in the intelligence field.

The winner of this award will receive a mentor in the intelligence career field.

Scholarships amount, which is $1500 per winner, can be used only for tuition and books, not for room and board.

Who's eligible?

The Lint Center for National Security Studies, inc, has determined the scholarship eligibility criteria, meaning that students must be admitted to a University prior to submitting this application.

So as to be eligible, the student has to write the essay in which he/she should fully explain one of the goals or concepts of The Lint Center for National Security Studies, including your thoughts, feelings, ideas or experiences pertaining to counterintelligence, national security, alliance building, and/or national defense.

 

How to Apply

Very important thing to remember is not to miss the scholarship application submission deadline which is on July 31st.

You are supposed to write an essay whose purpose is to allow the Scholarship Committee to understand what you view to be an issue of importance and why and to evaluate your approach, assessment, and thoughts on the topical matter/

The essay topics should focus on any subject that has a strong and direct connection to U.S. Counterintelligence, National Security, Alliance Building, and National Defense.

Creative thinking, innovative ideas and solutions of the most challenging issues is something that will be appreciated and the priority will be given to those authors.

The essay should not be less than 500-words.

So that your application is accepted, it is important to provide full scholarship material which should consist of the following:

  • Photograph
  • Filled out scholarship application
  • Current resume
  • Proof of acceptance and enrollment at an accredited four year college or university
  • University academic transcript including cumulative GPA
  • Copies of special academic awards or awards in general
  • Two Faculty/Supervisor recommendation letters with their contact information is included
  • National Security Essay
  • Personal Essay
  • Lint Center Virtual Archive for National Security contribution essay
