INCPAS Scholarship is designed for minority high school students who are interested in accounting/business.

The scholarship is available only to those students who have high academic achievements, who are possible leaders and future businessmen and the current scholarship programs are in Indianapolis and South Bend.

This program is a highly competitive and the best applicants will be granted the award.

INCPAS Scholarship receivers will get business clothing, meals, limo rides to firms and businesses employing CPAs, academic gift of $500, a CPA mentor, a college accounting student buddy and a college or scholarship letter of recommendation.

It is good to mention that all information that an applicant submits becomes property of the Indiana CPA Society.

All INCPAS Scholarship recipients will be obliged to participate in the various INCPAS Scholars activities
throughout the school year if they do not take place it will result in the dismissal from the INCPAS Scholars program.

Who's eligible?

If you want to apply for this scholarship, first you should get acquainted with all the eligibility requirements that you have to fulfill in order that your application can be accepted.

You have to be an under-represented U.S. racial/ethnic minority high school student enrolled in an Indiana high school or home school program in the year you are applying for scholarship.
You have to be an Indiana resident due to the fact that you will need to participate in monthly meetings in the Indianapolis or South Bend-area;
You need to have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale and an interest in accounting and business as well as show the qualities and characteristics of a leader.

How to Apply

On the official website, interested students can find INCPAS Scholars Application and a student questionnaire which must be filled out and submitted by June 1 at 5 p.m. EDT.

Furthermore, applicants are responsible for submitting a recent transcript and the reference questionnaire, which should be completed by a teacher, guidance counselor, supervisor or volunteer coordinator.
