Executive Women International ASIST Scholarship is created so as to help the physically, socially, or economically disadvantaged adult students.

This amazing scholarship is available to adults who are facing economic, social, or physical challenges, while wanting to improve their situation through educational opportunities.

Full Description

The Executive Women International (EWI) Scholarship providers believe that the financial aid in terms of scholarship will positively impact the personal life, employment, family, and community of the applicant.

The foundation was founded in 1938 by Lucille J. Perkins with the aim to change the roles of women in business and other careers.

The scholarships are awarded for over 25 years and more than $500,000 is given through their Chapters and the Corporate Office.

The scholarship yearly award ranges from $2,000 to $5,000 and the number of possible recipients is determined each year.

Who's eligible?

In order to be eligible for this scholarship, you have to be attending a four-year or community college within a 50-mile radius of Detroit, including Windsor, ON.

You need to have a financial need and be able to prove it.

The eligible candidates are those people who are physically, socially, or economically disadvantaged, as well as single parents.

One more requirement is that they need to be at least 18 years old and must reside within boundaries of a participating EWI Chapter.

The ASIST Scholarship has the aim to help adult students who are pursuing an associates’ or bachelor degree, while the graduating high school students are not eligible to apply for it.
