The Siena Heights University S-STEM Scholars Program is available to young students thanks to the generosity of the National Science Foundation which has been funding scholarships since its establishment.

The main aim of this organization is to support environmental science, chemistry, and non-medical biology students through financial aid offered either vis scholarships, internships, travel to conferences and career development seminars.

The Siena Heights University S-STEM Scholars Program is supporting those science students who are trying to graduate and pursue science-related careers, but at the same time struggle with financial difficulties, being that educational expenses are quite high.

The foundation is offering up to ten scholarships per year and the award amount is $5,000 to each winner for four years’ time, meaning $20,000 total.

Besides the money, the recipient will get paid internships, research opportunities, scientific conferences, a living-learning community, and career preparation seminars.

The deadline for application submission is determined each year, so make sure yoy get familiar with it when the application process opens.

Who's eligible?

The scholarship is available only to that applicatnt who meet the eligibility criteria:

They have to be majoring in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or Non-medical Biology with interest in Agriculture, Natural Resources, Biodiversity, Ecology, Air, Water, Soil, Sustainability, Industrial Ecology, Chemicals, and/or the Environment.

They need to prove great academic standing with a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher.

This is a need-based scholarship, so the applicant must prove financial need, based on the FAFSA report.

Next, he/she needs to be incoming, first-year college students at Siena Heights University and be full-time enrolled.

The award is available only to U.S. Citizens.

First, you will be asked to complete the data related to your personal education and interests and then you will be redirected to a second page where you can create your username and password and complete the application.

It is very important that you provide honest and accurate answers to all of the questions.
