When the Augustana College Athletic Grant is in question it has to be mentioned that the Grant amounts vary each year and are determined prior to the opening of the application process.
Augustana academic and merit-based awards are given to qualified students who are full-time students in good academic standing.
The amount awarded can be only used for educational costs for tuition and fees at the selected university.
Who's eligible?
As it is the case with any other scholarship, there are certain eligibility requirements that have to be fulfilled so as to be able to apply for the award.
Actually, if you do not meet them, do not waste your time applying as you will not be considered for it.
The scholarships at Augustana are awarded based on academic performance and/or talent and Augustana Athletic Grants can be received only by outstanding student-athletes.
Not only do they have to prove the excellent educational achievements, but also students must earn at least a 3.0 GPA while enrolled at Augustana to maintain these scholarships in subsequent years.
The great thing is that this award is available to both new and continuing students on the basis of academic achievement.
The most deserving candidates are selected based on: ACT composite score/SAT composite score and Cumulative High School GPA (on a 4.0 scale).
Not only will these determine initial scholarship award winner, but also leadership, service, talent, and other factors.

Once you determine that you are eligible for this award, you should apply for it and the first thing you need to do is to submit a completed Application for Admission and Scholarship which will be available on the scholarship provider’s official website once the application process opens.
Make sure to submit all the documentation before the deadline on December 15th.
