The Arc of Washington trust fund serves many areas in the states of Washington, Oregon, Alaska or Idaho and in British Columbia.

Mostly junior researchers are given the priority since the funds are not that much.

More applicants coming from different universities had successfully availed of the program with a must to present their proposals relating to the intellectual disabilities its prevention and cure.

A maximum amount of $10,000 will be granted to successful candidate and will be notified by the company representative when proposal has been approved.

Who's eligible?

In order to avail of this program, the applicant must write a letter of intent showcasing the nature of the research proposal and its relation to the goals of the Arc of Washington thrusts.

Submission is every 15th of august yearly and will get notification upon approval on the 25th date of the same month. A maximum of $10,000 will be granted to the awarded candidate.

Applicants is open to all residents and employees of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska or British Columbia.

Upon approval by the board of trust, the applicant must secure a hard copy of the research proposal and submit it to the office not later than the September 20 of the current year.

Researchers are advised to present their proposal personally to the board of thrusts during the meeting at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington.
