WTS Portland Chapter Gail Achterman Leadership Scholarship

The purpose of the Gail Achterman Leadership Scholarship is to motivate and reward women who demonstrate leadership in the transportation industry.

The Gail Achterman Leadership Scholarship was named after Gail, who served as the Chapter’s honorary chairwoman for our 2010 membership drive and was the chapter’s 2008 woman of the year.

The scholarship is aimed at an undergraduate or graduate student who not only meets the chapter’s academic criteria but who has demonstrated leadership in the transportation industry.
