The Tocris Scholarship Program has aim to support students whose plans are to pursue a science-related degree.

 

Full Description

The Tocris Scholarship Program offers a $1500 scholarship twice a year for the fall and spring semesters.

Who's eligible?

The eligibility criteria include that the student is enrolled in a university and plan to pursue a science-related degree in the US/Canada and European Countries.

The eligible countries in which you must be studying are:

Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom and United States

If you are currently enrolled or accepted at a university you are eligible to apply and the scholarship committee will send the check directly to the university listed in the application.

The accepted majors are those that are related to biology, dental, chemistry, nursing, and the medical field.

Both full-time and part-time students are eligible to apply.

 

How to Apply

The deadline for the application submission is December 13th and July 31st, and the lucky recipient will be notified the week after the deadline.

When the Application Materials are in question, what you need to upload is the Degree Declaration which will verify the degree/program you have been accepted into or are currently enrolled in.

Then, you need to list your extracurricular activities related to your field of study and provide a personal statement which will be 500 words or less which will be about the impact you strive to make using a degree in your field of interest.

Besides the application form, you will need to submit the official transcript and a written statement in which you will speak about why you chose this field of study.

All of the supporting documents must be accurate and complete and must be submitted before the deadline so as to be accepted and taken into consideration.
