The TLMI Four-Year College Degree Scholarship Program is only available for qualified full-time college students, entering their third or fourth year of study.
The foundation has noticed the importance of investing in the education and success of our workforce so they offer scholarships to the most deserving students based on academic achievement, a demonstrated interest and goals, and a personal interview.
Eligible students who are pursuing a degree in the tag and label manufacturing industry have to possess excellent character, including work ethic, honesty, and integrity which will be taken into consideration when determining the most deserving candidate.
There will be six scholarship winners who will be awarded $5000 so do not waste your time waiting, but once the application process starts, submit an application for this award.
If a student is selected as a winner, he/she must then submit his or her course schedule by semester to TLMI and the foundation will then submit payment directly to the recipient’s school.
The first thing each applicant should know when he/she wants to apply for a scholarship is the eligibility requirements.
When this scholarship is in question, the criteria are the following:
The applicant must demonstrate an interest in employment in the tag, label industry and package printing industry and his/her major course work should include courses that are relevant to these three types of industries.
These courses can include Management, Sales/Marketing, Graphic Design or Fine Arts, Production and Graphic Communications.
Relatives of TLMI board members, corporate owners, and CEOs are not eligible to apply.
In addition to the above-mentioned eligibility requirements, for the Four Year College Degree Scholarship Program the applicant must also attend, full-time, an accredited college or university in the United States or Canada and be a junior or senior year student.
How to Apply
The application process requires that the applicant must submit an official transcript and maintain a minimum of a 3.00 GPA.
Make sure you submit the application form and all the required documentation prior to the deadline on April 5th, being that late applications will not be taken into consideration.
