The LAGRANT Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships

The LAGRANT foundation seeks to encourage young learners to pursue careers in advertising, marketing, and public relations and the foundation wants to be sure that only the best student benefits from the scholarship fund, so the criteria for the winner selection is very strict.

If you happen to be the LAGRANT Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship recipient, you must make a one-year commitment to maintain contact with TLF to receive professional guidance and academic support.

Full Description

The LAGRANT Foundation (TLF) scholarship in the amount of $ 2500 will be awarded to thirty lucky recipients.

They will also receive a trip to New York City where they will participate in career building activities including a welcome dinner with a keynote speaker, two daylong career and professional development workshops and a scholarship and donor recognition reception.

Who's eligible?

The scholarship is available to an undergraduate (current freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and non-graduating seniors) applicant meeting the following criteria and completing the application.

The eligibility criteria for the scholarship is determined by the scholarship committee and the eligible applicant should:

  • Be a U.S citizen or permanent resident,
  • Be enrolled in a full-time four-year course at an accredited institution of higher learning, carrying a total of 12 units or more per semester/quarter
  • Have a minimum G.P.A score of 2.75
  • Be in the final year of college education, and must major in a field of study that has an emphasis on advertising, marketing or public relation
  • Express a willingness to attend an event for the award of the scholarship and be available to participate in the scholarship activities from May 17-20.Must be a member of one of the following ethnic groups: African American/Black, Asian American/Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latino or Native American/Alaska Native. 

How to Apply

The application steps are outlined in the organization’s website and what the applicant must do is the following:

  • Fill out the application form for the scholarship,
  • Provide current and updated resume
  • Attach head-shot photo
  • Submit official transcripts, or letter of admission into college

All the documents must be submitted prior to the application process deadline on February 28th, being that late applications will not be taken into consideration for the scholarship.
