The Electronic Arts/William J. Byron Endowed Fund has the aim to financially support the younger generations of deserving students.
However, not every student is eligible to get this award, and the scholarship committee has determined some guidelines and criteria according to which their job will be made easier and they will be able to select the best of the best candidates.
You should not apply for the award unless you meet all the following eligibility criteria.
Ineligible application forms will not be taken into consideration.
The number of awards and the amount of money received will be determined by the committee prior to the beginning of the application process, and it will be based on the number of eligible and qualified applicants and the availability of funds.
The eligible applicant is a current student from diverse ethnic and gender backgrounds who are enrolled in interactive media with an emphasis on games at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts.
Unfortunately, scholarships are not available for students in the Cinematic Arts minor programs.
Eligible applicants are highly suggested to submit the application for the Electronic Arts/William J. Byron Endowed Fund for Student Support.
How to Apply
For current SCA students, the online application will become available in SCA Community under the Scholarships tool on February 1 and the deadline will be March 2.
The Electronic Arts/William J. Byron Endowed Fund for Student Support will become available to prospective students once the application process starts.
The application forms are available on the scholarship provider’s website and it is significant to know that while you may log in to the application multiple times, the application must be completed and submitted in one login session.
There is no option to save changes and login at a later time to submit it.
Make sure that you provide all the application documents considering the fact that once the application is submitted, you will not be able to make any changes.
Make sure to have all required materials ready to submit in a single login session.
