The Teachers of Accounting at Two-Year Colleges (TACTYC) offers multiple scholarships in the amount of $1,000.

The Teachers of Accounting at Two Year Colleges’ primary objective is the advancement of accounting education and they are achieving it successfully over many years.

Their aim is to financially support two-year college graduating students that are pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting at a four-year college.

 

Full Description

The Teachers of Accounting at Two Year College’s aim is to encourage the advancement of accounting education since its foundation in 1974.

It has always emphasized the development of creative and innovative teaching and curriculum and it is trying to support younger generations to continue their mission and encourage them to reach higher education goals, especially in case they struggle with financial difficulties.

The award will be given to two eligible candidates who are determined as the most deserving by the scholarship committee.

Who's eligible?

The scholarship eligibility criteria require that applicants must have completed at least 20 college semester credit hours by the end of the spring semester and must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Furthermore, they need to be currently attending a two-year college as a full-time or a part-time student with plans to transfer to a four-year institution in a Bachelor’s Degree program in accounting.

An eligible applicant must provide transcripts and one to two-page self-description which includes his/her academic and professional goals.

Furthermore, the candidate has to compose a one-page business letter and should be recommended by an accounting faculty member.

How to Apply

Applications process opens on November 1st.

Once the application process starts, you will be able to gather all the necessary information related to the application procedure and there will be the application form available on the scholarship provider’s official website.

You will need to follow the instructions and you will be able to successfully submit the completed application form.

Make sure to do that prior to the application deadline, as late applications will not be taken into consideration.
