The Robert Toigo Foundation Fellowship has the goal to support high potential MBA students with a passion for financial careers who are highly interested in and demonstrate a great passion for corporate leadership, entrepreneurship, and board placement.

Full Description

The award of $1,000 is given to the most exceptional applicant at the beginning of his/her association with Toigo.

The lucky recipient gets additional funding towards his/her education.

If you happen to be selected as a finalist, you will be required to appear for an interview by invitation in either New York or San Francisco.

The fellowship is awarded by Robert Toigo Foundation and the award amount is $5,000 annually, renewable for one additional year offered to fifty to sixty winners.

Who's eligible?

The applicant is required to know their eligibility and whether they can commit to the requirements of Fellowship prior to submitting the application, so as not to be rejected.

If you are wondering what degree programs are eligible for this award, we have to say that you must be applying to / or have been accepted into one of the following degree programs:

  • An accredited U.S.-based, two-year, full-time MBA program
  • JD/MBA
  • Masters in Real Estate

Furthermore, the scholarship committee has determined additional eligibility requirements for the Robert Toigo Foundation Fellowship, and only a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or a person who has the legal right to work in the U.S is allowed to apply for this award.

The eligible applicants are those people who begin their second year of business school.

To apply, you must be an ethnic minority, and if selected, you will be able to join a select group of professionals passionate about their careers.

Also, the Robert Toigo Foundation requires all Fellows to sign a contract affirming his/her commitment to an internship in financial services and a full-time finance-related job for two years following graduation.

 

How to Apply

The Toigo Fellowship application procedure opens on January 7 and from that moment on the fillable application forms will become available to interested applicants.

Individuals apply at the pre-MBA stage and are selected prior to the start of business school.
