Mueller Continuing Education Scholarship has been awarding $5,000 since its foundation to students who need financial support and it is sponsored by Mueller Water Products.

The Mueller Continuing Education Scholarship is awarded thanks to the support of the world’s largest water association – the AWWA’s Water Equation.

The AWWA Engineering Technical Services Department is there to collect applications from the best students in North America, and according to the materials provided, award the best candidates.

The deadline for application submission is December 2nd, and the awardees are announced on April 15th.

Who's eligible?

When interested in applying for the Mueller Continuing Education Scholarship, you should take the time to review the eligibility and application requirements so that you can be prepared to complete all of the necessary information.

Eligible applicants are College seniors, College sophomores, College juniors, College freshmen who can demonstrate financial need, being that this is a need-based scholarship.

Furthermore, the applicant has to be a current utility employee seeking an undergraduate degree.

How to Apply

Before applying for any kind of scholarship, it is important to get acquainted with the application requirements and the process itself.

For the AWWA scholarships, the application process is the same, as there is one online application for all level scholarships.

Besides filling out the application form with honest answers, you are supposed to submit a letter of recommendation from a person not related to you.

It is mandatory to include Academic or Research Advisor Letter of Recommendation for Graduate level scholarships.

Then, you are supposed to attach a proposed plan of research consisting of three pages of text including supporting figures.

References are not required, but you might include them.

You are also supposed to attach your most recent transcript(s) of all university education and unofficial transcripts are also accepted.

Last, but not least, copy in your resume a two-page maximum length that includes all colleges and universities attended, dates, major fields of study, grade point average.
