Full Description

The great thing about the Lucie Foundation Emerging Scholarship is that three people will be awarded, so you should definitely try your luck.

Who's eligible?

Each scholarship is available only to those who are eligible, and before applying it is good to know who can apply and who will be able to get it.

The Lucie Emerging Scholarships are open to photographers 18 years and older, worldwide, but the photographer has to be enrolled as a student in the first five years of their photography career or does not earn the majority of their income from photography.

Those people who do not meet the requirements are suggested not to waste their time applying, as they will not be taken into consideration.

How to Apply

As you have gone through the application requirements and you believe that you are eligible for this award, you should know what is required to apply.

It is very important to read all the following information carefully and be sure that your application material is complete, considering the fact that incomplete applications will be rejected, even though the applicant is eligible.

You need to submit a Project Proposal which has to include the Project Start and End Dates, 250-word description of your project, your plan for completing the project, five goals that you plan to accomplish while working on the project, a one-page biography and/or CV and twenty digital images.

Once you gather all these, you should submit the application.

The significant fact to have in mind is that the photographer must be the sole author and owner of the copyright of photos entered into the competition
