LGBTQ Scholarship For Senior High School Students is a $500 award which is aimed to financially support and help an entering college freshman.

There is only one winner annually, determined based on the application and a submitted essay.

Full Description

The lucky recipient will not be able to get the amount directly, as it will be made out to the entering college in the winning student’s name.

The money cannot be used for purposes other than tuition, books, and other educational material.

Who's eligible?

LGBTQ Scholarship For Senior High School Student requires that the applicant meet certain requirements to be eligible to enter the LGBTQ college scholarship if he/she is not in their support group:

You can either get a letter showing that you are in the LGBTQ community and that you attend an LGBTQ support group, which has to be signed by the group leader on their letterhead stationery of that support group/organization.

Or, you can pick one of the LGBTQ essay questions and provide an answer to it.

Furthermore, you must volunteer at an LGBTQ support group center for a total of 3 hours.

You must have a letter signed showing that you helped at a center/event for the LGBTQ which should be written on letterhead stationery of support group/organization.

If you consider yourself eligible, you should try your luck by applying for this award.

How to Apply

So as to apply for the LGBTQ Scholarship For Senior High School Students, applicants must submit their essay which would be no less than 1,000 words long and that should be done before the 1st Thursday in August.
