The aim of this association is to encourage young people to pursue careers in music education.

Actually, the association is providing them an opportunity to perform and award them scholarships.

It is aimed at students attending a four-year college or university as a music major and the award is amazing $5000.

Full Description

John R. Pandolfi Scholarship’s goal is to support music in our community and help student musicians pursue their higher education degrees.

Since its foundation, more than 100 students have received scholarship awards.

Who's eligible?

The scholarship is aimed at students musicians who have financial needs and cannot provide for the educational expenses, so the first requirement is that you need to be a student attending a four-year college or university as a music major.

Plus, in order to be eligible for this award, students’ families must be residents of the Tri-County – Bristol, Plymouth, Barnstable.

Previous applicants/recipients are also encouraged to reapply, but it is strongly recommended that you provide new references with your new application.

Ineligible applicants will be rejected, so if you do not meet the requirements, you should not waste your time applying.

How to Apply

The John R. Pandolfi College Scholarship committee has determined eligibility requirements and certain documentation submission, so as to be accepted as a possible scholarship winner.

In order to get the award, you will need to fill out the application form available on the scholarship provider’s official website.

Each applicant must submit a letter of introduction in which he/she will be speaking about his/her interests and plans for the future.

These letters should be no longer than 250 words and must include the applicant’s name, address, telephone number, and email address.

Furthermore, they need to provide a resume of their musical background and experience and three letters of reference.

You are required to submit a copy of the acceptance letter from the college you will be attending in the fall.
