The Tri-County Music Association, Inc. has been giving scholarships over the last 56 years and they are aimed at students musicians who have financial needs and cannot provide for the educational expenses.

The Tri-County Music Association, Inc. is there to encourage younger generations to pursue careers in music and by awarding scholarships they give a chance to talented and people who deserve it to develop and achieve great success in this field.

The Tri-County Music Association, Inc. has given more than 100 scholarship awards over the years and the amount is not at all negligible, 12000 total per year.

Who's eligible?

For each and every scholarship, there are certain conditions that either make you eligible for it or not, in order to lower the number of people who can apply for it.

The first requirement is that you need to be a student attending a four-year college or university as a music major.

Another condition is that your family must reside in one of the Tri-County area, which include Bristol, Plymouth and Barnstable.

A good thing to know is that if you have already applied for this scholarship or got the award, you can apply again and it is recommended that you provide references together with your new application.

How to Apply

In order to get the John R. Pandolfi College Scholarship you will need to fill out the application forms and complete the additional requirements related to the application process.

First, you must submit a 250 word letter of introduction where you will speak about your interests and plans for the future related to the music industry.

Then, you should provide a resume of your musical background and experience, as well as three letters of reference.

Last, but not the least, the acceptance letter from the college you will be attending in the year when you apply for the scholarship.
