Geri Wolff Foundation Scholarship

The Geri Wolff Scholarship Fund has to offer $5000 each year for a young woman who is trying to major in computer sciences, digital design and other related fields.

The main aim of this scholarship is to invest in those people who have high interest in choosing a career in the digital signage industry.

The scholarship program is managed by the DSF Education Committee.

 

Full Description

Once the DSF Scholarship Committee reviews all application materials, it will determine the most deserving candidate.

The winner will be determined according to the academic record, professional references, and commitment to a career in the field of computer sciences.

Future applicants should know that the amount offered can be used to pay the cost of university education or to pay for DSF student membership or DSCE certification for students prior to graduation.

Who's eligible?

The committee has a task to develop the award criteria and determines award amounts, which might differ from year to year.

The applicant has to be enrolled full time in an accredited college or university with a declared major in computer sciences, digital design and other digital signage related fields and she has to be in good standing with a minimum 3.0 cumulative overall GPA on a 4.0 scale.

How to Apply

If you consider yourself eligible, you are highly encouraged to apply for this award.

Our suggestion is to compile all application materials prior to filling out the application form, as you will need them.

You should use the application form to submit your application for the Digital Signage Federation’s Geri Wolff Scholarship.

What you should do is to provide a link to a video of yourself explaining why you think you are a candidate for this award.

The video should not be too long and you should speak about your qualifications, interests and future goals.

As a part of the application process, you will be asked to upload your transcript as well as letters of recommendation which can be written by professors..

Also, you will have to provide an essay or a statement which should be around 500 words long and typed.

The deadline for the application submissions is February 28th.
