GeneTex is offering not only the highest quality antibody reagents and the highest standards of product performance, but also has a huge impact on future academics and possible young scientists.

In order to improve scientific advancement GeneTex has created the GeneTex Scholarship Program which awards a $2000 scholarship to students pursuing a STEM undergraduate or graduate degree.

The scholarship is awarded twice a year to one and the same student.

GeneTex is aware of the notion that the genesis of future discoveries begins with the support of young scientists now and that is why they strive to provide as much financial help as possible to young people interested in science.

By giving younger generations a chance to study and advance academically by supporting their goals and aims, the foundation not only makes them able to reach their dreams, but also encourages scientists to share their experience with GeneTex scholarship recipients.

Who's eligible?

A person who wants to apply for this scholarship has to meet some eligibility criteria, meaning that he.she must be a student enrolled at an accredited college or university and all accredited universities are eligible who has good academic achievements.

He/she has to declare STEM major and the scholarship is open to international students, considering the fact that the GeneTex Scholarship Program is intended for students who are enrolled in a STEM graduate program.

The scholarship is available to applicants that have previously received the GeneTex Scholarship.

How to Apply

There is the application button on the official webpage of the foundation and all the necessary data.

Besides the personal and educational data that you will be asked to provide, there are additional information such as school transcript and a personal 500 words essay on the topic: “What scientific discovery has impacted your life?”

Once you application is accepeted, it will be reviewed by a committee of three to five GeneTex employees who will determinate whose application best aligns with GeneTex’s values and mission.

Scholarship is not paid to a receiver, but directly to the university at which the recipient is enrolled and then the university is in charge of distribution of the funds to the recipient.

The foundation do not impose any restrictions on the use of the scholarship funds.
