The FFNFF offers one $1,000.00 scholarship each year on a competitive basis to High School seniors accepted by a college or University.

The scholarship is available thanks to the generous support of the sponsoring organization – Fulgham-Fulghum Family National Association, Inc.

The Fulgham-Fulghum National Family Foundation, Inc.’s goals are to provide help to young learners via a scholarship program, as they have noticed the importance of investing in future generations and their education, being that the world will be left to them.

Special emphasis is on those people who achieve excellent educational standings but have difficulties paying the high educational expenses.

Full Description

Once the application process ends, all the received applications are reviewed by the Scholarship Committee, and the award is given to the most deserving applicant based on the complete application.

The scholarship recipient will be notified by the end of June and he/she will get a $1000 award that can be used for educational purposes only.

Who's eligible?

The Committee members decided to limit the scholarship to high school seniors entering a program leading to a degree in teaching, social services or nursing.

Priority will be given to High School Seniors entering a post-secondary program leading to a career in the teaching, social services or nursing professions.

So as to be considered eligible, applications must be made on an official Fulgham-Fulghum Family Scholarship Application form and applicants must request an FFNFF form by U.S. Postal Service mail from The Rev. Peter C. Fulghum.

How to Apply

In order to be considered for the award, you must submit the completed application and it should contain the following information:

  • The completed official FFNFF application form which can be found on the scholarship provider’s official website once the application process begins
  • Acceptance information by an accredited college or university
  • Official transcripts – a summary of academic achievement in high school and any college work to date.
  • A list of the applicant’s outside the classroom achievements and volunteer work;
  • A 150-word essay

The deadline for requesting an application form is March 15th each year while the deadline for submitting completed applications is April 15th.
