The Foundation’s aim with this scholarship is to allow better education and to assist the children of military and law enforcement in their professional development goals.

Through these awards, the Federal Resources is somehow trying to compensate to those who protected us all even though there is no way to fully repay for their service and bravery.

 

Full Description

Each year, the Warrior’s Legacy Scholarship foundation will award $5,000.

The scholarship funds will not be given directly to the recipient, but will be made out to the student’s accredited institution.

The money can be used for school related costs such as tuition, school supplies or books.

Who's eligible?

The Federal Resources offers The Warrior’s Legacy Scholarship Fund to a high school senior or currently enrolled college student that meets all eligibility requirements.

All the eligibility requirements will be available once the application process is open and you will be able to find them on the scholarship provider’s official website, but we are offering you the criteria that has to be met.

The applicant has to be an undergraduate student who attends a university, a four-year college, two-year college or a vocational-tech school.

He/she has to have the minimum 3.0 GPA and study full-time.

The scholarship is available only to the US residents.

How to Apply

The application process for the Federal Resources Warrior scholarship includes the writing of an essay of 500 words in which the applicants will share their stories.

The essay should be the answer to the following essay questions:

  • Describe what you think are the core characteristics that a service member or first responder embodies.
  • If awarded the Warrior’s Legacy Scholarship, how do you intend to embody those same characteristics in your everyday life, your future education and career goals?

The documentation additional that has to be provided with the completed application form is the parent or guardian’s proof of service and the transcript proving your GPA.

FR’s Scholarship Committee is there to review all completed applications and determine who the most deserving individual for the Warrior’s Legacy Scholarship is.

If you happen to be the scholarship winner, you will be notified about that by July 31st.
