The application for this scholarship is a matching one, meaning it will ‘match’ you with scholarships for which you may be eligible.

Who's eligible?

People interested in applying for Dr. Edward and Anne Link Fund Scholarship should first get familiar with the eligibility criteria and only if they meet them, they are encouraged to apply.

Ineligible applicants will be rejected, as well as those applications which come after the deadline, even though the applicants meet the requirements.

The criteria are the following:

The applicants must be a Shelby County resident maintaining a college GPA of not less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

He/she has to be pursuing a major in visual arts, performing arts, or creative writing toward a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree.

Applicants must have completed at least one year of post-secondary education.

You should visit the site once the application process starts, click on the link to get started and the system will guide you through the whole process.

It is very important to follow the deadline, being that the application process finished on May 30th for current college students and some high school seniors, so your application form must be submitted prior to that date if you want to be accepted as a possible winner.

A good thing to know is that you may be able to apply for several scholarships by completing the Community Foundation’s online application, but make sure to be familiar with additional requirements which some scholarships may ask you to attach.

The application form consists of questions about your high school, residency, college, major and grade point average.

You will be supposed to attach letters of recommendation, your FAFSA EFC document and your transcript.
