The Connie Priscilla Scholarship Fund has been awarding great financial aid through scholarships to helping high school graduates across the country.

The scholarship is designed to provide support to young people who are eager to achieve higher education, but their financial situation limits them.

What the Connie Priscilla Fund does is assist students with financial assistance or those in low income neighborhoods and single parent households by providing scholarships, thus encouraging them to reach for their dreams and showing them the importance of community service in which they should be involved.

Each year, the fund gives $2500 award to four graduates.

The provided scholarships should be used for the costs of tuition, textbooks, and room.

Who's eligible?

In order to be eligible for this award, you will have to meet certain criteria as it is the case with any other kind of scholarship.

Firstly, the scholarship is there to help young people from single parent or low-income households.

The eligible applicant has to hold a 3.0 GPA or better.

Applicant must be an African-American and a graduating high school senior

He/she has to prove leadership at school or in the community as he/she will be asked about their experience throughout the application process.

How to Apply

Make sure to submit application material prior to July 22nd in order to be considered for the award.

So as to be able to participate in the Connie Priscilla Scholarship Fund you will be asked to speak about how you have served in your community and all your activities related to volunteer organizations and your roles there.

You should also speak about how serving your community has helped you as a person and how this scholarship will help you in furthering your education.

The part of your application should be a letter of recommendation written by your coach, mentor, counselor or teacher.

You are supposed to include a headshot with your profile.

If there are awards already given to you, you will be asked to list any awards or accolades you have received such as Honor Society, Sports, Community Services, etc.
