Colorado Garden Foundation has to offer various scholarship programs which will provide financial aid to students attending a college or university in Colorado.

The three major scholarships available are:

  • Full-Ride Scholarship
  • Undergraduate Scholarship
  • Graduate Scholarship

The Colorado Garden Foundation has scholarships available through the following colleges:

  • –Front Range Community College
  • –Northeastern Junior College
  • -Pickens Tech

Once the scholarship is given to a certain college or university of the student’s choice, it cannot be transferred to another college without a written permission from Colorado Garden Foundation.

Full Description

Scholarships will be given to the college or university that the student is attending each semester after the submission of a student’s written correspondence related to how classes and major are preparing him/her for the future.

The scholarship is awarded to students interested in the following fields:

  • Agriculture Business
    • Agriculture Education
    • Horticulture
    • Floriculture
    • Landscape Architecture
    • Botany
    • Plant Biology
    • Plant Pathology/Science
    • Nursery & Landscape
  • Management
    • Environmental Horticulture
    • Agronomy

Who's eligible?

This scholarship includes tuition, fees, room & board and it is only available to Colorado residents who have to be incoming freshmen at a Colorado public college or university.

This scholarship receiver has to maintain an annual cumulative grade point average of 2.50 and complete a
minimum of 12 credit hours per semester.

Furthermore, students will be expected to perform a minimum of 20 documented hours of annual volunteer community service in a related field.

How to Apply

In order to apply for this scholarship, you need to fill out the required application form and provide all the additional required information.
On the official website of this organization, there is an application form which should be filled out and submitted by March 15th.

The received application forms will be reviewed and judged by Colorado Garden Foundation and award will be for a maximum of four years.
Those who are lucky enough to be among the finalists will have a face-to-face interview in Denver with the board of directors of the Colorado Garden Foundation.

The decision will be made based on academic record, extra curricular activities and financial need of the applicant.
