There are so many students who are dreaming of attending culinary school, but lack the financial means to make it come true.

C-CAP is the organization which is proud to run the largest independent culinary/hospitality scholarship program for students to further their education.

The Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP) Scholarships are available to incoming students who participated in C-CAP’s competition events.

Full Description

The great thing is that the scholarships are renewable for up to 4 years so long as recipients maintain a 2.75 GPA.

This is a full tuition scholarship and cannot be used for any other purpose.

Make sure to submit the application form prior to February 9th, as those received after it will not be accepted.

Who's eligible?

In order to be eligible, students must have a minimum combined score of 1030 on SAT math and reading sections or 22 on ACT composite.

The eligible students who can apply are high school students, transfer students, graduate students, adult learners and veterans who have financial need.

Students studying through the College of Online Education are ineligible for JWU institutional scholarships, JWU institutional grants and JWU institutional awards.

When the eligibility requirements are in question, the applicant for the Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP) Scholarships must be an undergraduate student, must attend a four-year college, two-year college or a vocational-tech school and not be older than 21.

He/she must be resident of Arizona, California, Illinois, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and studying Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management.

How to Apply

The application process will be opened on October 1st and you should apply for Aid (FAFSA) which will maximize your financial aid eligibility.

Application forms are available through C-CAP and you are supposed to submit all documentation to C-CAP prior to deadline date which will be determined.

If you find yourself eligible for this award, we suggest you apply for it by submitting the following documentation:

  • Essay
  • Financial Need Analysis.

If you happen to be the one chosen among the finalists, you will have to attend an interview.

Only then, the most eligible and deserving candidate will be determined as a winner of the award.
