Since its foundation, the 4‑H supports the power of young people.

Due to the fact that strengths exist in each and every person and their aim to improve the world around us is great, the organization has helped six million young people across the U.S. who are the definition of True Leaders.

What makes them special is the fact that these people make a positive impact on their community with skills they learned in 4‑H daily.

Full Description

The 4‑H Youth in Action Program is designed for young leaders who are interested in working in agriculture, civic engagement, healthy living and STEM.

What the winner will receive is:

Who's eligible?

National 4‑H Council grants are there for young people and adults, who wants to take on issues critical to their lives, families, and communities.

4‑H programs are offered in local communities, counties, and states for youth and adults who will work together to design the project.

Deadlines are determined in conjunction with the funding partners but once the grant is announced, you will have a four- to eight-week period to apply.

Grants are designed only for 4‑H Extension groups and are not available to individuals and the 4-H members or alumni have to be aged between 16-19.

How to Apply

If you want to apply for the grants offered by National 4‑H Council, the only way of doing that is through their online grants portal as this is the only place where requests for Proposals/Application for Council’s grants and awards are posted.

There you will find out everything about applying for funding opportunities, submitting reports, and receiving information about the winners.

Applications are only accepted from 4‑H/Extension professionals and state level Extension 4‑H/Youth Development Program Leaders.

Otherwise, LGU Administrator would have to approve the proposal.

You can sign in on their official website and you will be asked to submit appropriate documentation.
