Worldstudio AIGA Scholarship

Worldstudio AIGA Scholarships noticed the importance of supporting the minority and economically disadvantaged students who are studying art and design disciplines in colleges and universities in the United States.

That is why the preference will be given to students who prove financial difficulties.

Worldstudio Foundation’s aim with this scholarship is not only to help people in need, but also to increase diversity in the creative profession.

Full Description

The scholarships amount is either $2,000 or $3,000 which are paid directly to the recipient’s school and applied toward tuition.

The money cannot be used for any other purpose.

If you consider yourself eligible, you are highly encouraged to apply and try your luck.

Who's eligible?

The requirements that have to be met so that the applicant is considered eligible are the following:

They must be citizens of the United States or possess a green card.

They must be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in one of the following disciplines – Graphic Design, Illustration, and Photography

Applicants must be matriculated (or planning to matriculate) at accredited colleges and universities in the United States.

The minority status is not obligatory but can be a significant factor considered in jury decisions.

Students must have at least a 2.0 GPA.

Scholarships are only awarded to those students who prove that they have financial need by providing complete financial aid information on the scholarship form and have the form signed by his/her Financial Aid Officer.

How to Apply

The scholarship staff has made the application process simple and easy so that everybody can apply.

Everything is done online and the detailed description is available on the scholarship provider’s website.

The application process consists of downloading and reading the application instructions from the scholarship page so as to get familiar with the application process and then you will be able o complete and submit the application online.

Make sure you submit all the entries before April 30, being that the late and incomplete applications will be disqualified.
